Кстати, тут есть еще один аспект: машины можно эмулировать друг на друге, так что если мы умеем вычислять колмогоровскую сложность на одной машине, это нам дает ограничение сверху и снизу на к.с. на другой машине. Да, а для каких типов машин? Я думал, вычислима для любых типов, но занятие долгое и нудное, мы не доживем... Пришел АБРА и открыл нам глаза на невозможность существования copy machine (машины, выдающей свою программу на выход без изменений), а заодно и переборных алгоритмов. То, что можно подобрать кратчайшую программу, выдающую требуемый результат, простым перебором алгоритмов - последовательно, начиная с самого короткого - тебе в голову не пришло?
